Pastors keep finding it in pieces. They feel the pull of the evangelical conviction that Scripture is alive and that people are actually meant to meet Jesus and be changed. And they’ve stood in rooms where the Holy Spirit moved with a freedom they couldn’t manufacture or explain, and they knew they were on holy ground. They feel it, just like the members in their churches do.

Fire and Table exists because we believe the Church is most fully herself when the fire of the Spirit burns at the table the Church has set for two thousand years.

So we’re bringing together pastors, leaders, and practitioners who are tired of the divides and curious about the convergence. People who suspect, as we do, that the renewal the Church is longing for won’t come from one stream alone but from their meeting.
